Aside from that, the view from the edge of the plateau, just a short hike from the lake, is also quite stunning. Go Circle Lake fishing if you want to experience quite a nice fishing and hiking adventure.

Circle Lake Fishing

  • Fish Size

You might often catch large trout in this lake. Because winterkill often decreases the density of population of brook trout in this lake, most fishes are able to develop fully. The fishes that are able to overwinter for two seasons are going to be big, which anglers just can’t resist.

If you catch lots of small fishes, though, you are probably catching the young ones. Stunting is not an issue on this lake. The smaller fishes are often young – that have been stocked early in the season – and are not underdeveloped.

  • Picturesque View

The lake is very scenic. You will surely love taking pictures in this lake as the environment is quite pleasant. If you hike due south, you will be able to see quite a stunning view of the mountain. The path going to this area is quite rough, with lots of deadfall, trees and boulder, but the hike is well worth it.

  • Guide Recommended

This lake is hard to locate as the trail system that leads to this area branches in so many directions. You might find it hard to go into the right lake if you are not familiar with the place; thus, hiring a guide is a much ideal plan.
